Overview
A climbing vine from the tropical rain forest, indigenous to Surinam. The leaves
look-like a butterfly and are purple at the underside with 4 dark purple glands. The flowers are yellow-green
to whitish; 1" in diameter. The fruit is 1¾" and without taste. The seeds are small and numerous.
Hardiness: USDA zone 9 - 11. Propagation: seeds. Culture: full sun / light shade. Protect from frost or plant in frost free areas.
